We are incredibly proud to share some more amazing news about our very own Sonia Tudor.
After being named Unsung Hero at the West Midlands Regional Volunteer Awards, Sonia has now been selected by the National Awards Panel as one of just TWO finalists for the national award! 🤯
Sonia will represent Redditch Community Runners and the West Midlands at the @englandathletics National Awards in Birmingham on 21st November.
Anyone who knows Sonia will know just how much of herself she gives to the local running community in Redditch. Whether she’s welcoming somebody to their very first run, encouraging someone who is struggling, supporting our activities behind the scenes or simply being the unmistakable Sonia we all know and love, her contribution goes far beyond running.
To progress from a regional nomination, to West Midlands Unsung Hero, and now to the final two nationally, is an incredible achievement.
Whatever happens on 21st November, we’re already immensely proud of you, Sonia. 💙💛
One of two. National finalist. Our Sonia.
